1. Agreement

By accessing or purchasing any course, practice test, or bundle on otel.guru (operated by Aether8 AI Consulting Inc., Ontario, Canada), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not purchase or access the content.

2. Course Access

Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access the course materials. Access is granted to a single individual and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to any other person.

Free modules are available to anyone without purchase. Paid modules require a valid license key or access token issued through Polar.sh at time of purchase.

Lifetime access means access for as long as otel.guru operates. We reserve the right to modify, update, or retire content with reasonable notice.

3. Content Restrictions

All course content — including text, code examples, lab materials, diagrams, and practice questions — is the intellectual property of Aether8 AI Consulting Inc. and is protected by copyright.

  • You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or resell any course content.
  • You may not share your license key or access token with others.
  • You may not create derivative works from the course content for commercial use.
  • Screen recording or downloading of paid content for redistribution is prohibited.

Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of access without refund. Content is subject to DMCA protections. Infringement reports may be sent to info@otel.guru.

4. Certification Disclaimer

otel.guru courses are designed to build genuine understanding of OpenTelemetry and to prepare you for the OpenTelemetry Certified Associate (OTCA) exam. However, we do not guarantee exam passage or certification outcomes.

The OTCA exam is administered by the Linux Foundation and CNCF. Exam eligibility, scheduling, and results are governed entirely by their policies. We have no affiliation with or influence over exam outcomes.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than Lab 1 of the paid course content. To request a refund, email info@otel.guru with your order details. Refunds are processed through Polar.sh within 5–10 business days.

No refunds are issued after the 7-day window or once Lab 2 or beyond has been accessed.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Course content is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy, OpenTelemetry is an evolving project and content may not always reflect the latest specification or tooling changes. We are not liable for decisions made based on course content in production environments.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
